Cloudpilar is led from Bristol by a Microsoft-certified specialist across Azure, Data & AI and Security — the same person who scopes an engagement is the one accountable for what gets delivered.
That is a deliberate structure, not a limitation of size. Clients get direct access to the judgement calls that actually matter — architecture trade-offs, what to build versus buy, when a project should be stopped rather than pushed through — instead of a layer of account management between them and the decision-maker.

Cloudpilar is an AI and cloud consultancy with its UK headquarters in Bristol and a second office in Lagos. Delivery is led by a Microsoft-certified specialist across Azure, Data & AI and Security, and we work almost entirely with organisations where the data is sensitive and the tolerance for failure is low.
What we believe
Most AI work fails for unglamorous reasons: nobody could get access to the data, no one named the failure mode, or the thing that got built was never going to fit the way people actually work. We spend a disproportionate amount of our time on those three problems, because solving them is what makes the rest possible.
We also think a good consultancy should be willing to talk itself out of work. If an off-the-shelf product does the job, we will say so. We sell no licences and take no vendor commission, which is what makes that advice worth anything.

Who we are set up for
UK organisations, and specifically the ones where the data is sensitive and the tolerance for failure is low — financial services, healthcare, legal, manufacturing, retail and the public sector. That is where the governance and security work we do earns its keep; if your project has neither constraint, you may not need us. Our Lagos office supports delivery and gives us useful reach into West African markets.
